For those of you that don't know, DooM X is my current doom project. It will take all original and console exclusive levels and combine them into a 3d-sidescroller engine. Some small sections of levels may be changed, but I seriously doubt it because it uses the Duke Nukem Manhattan Project Engine.
It will be made for the following systems if I can get them squashed down from the Gamecube Version:
SNES (regular 2d sidescroller)
PS2 (Minor changes from GC Version)
XboX (Best version)
PC (Same as XboX)
GBA (Spider-man style, but without web stuff)
N64 (DooM/DooM 2 Levels w/ exclusive graphics)
Level List :
1-60 : PSX Levels
61-90 : DooM 2
91-120 : Final DooM TNT
121-152 : Final DooM Plutonia Experiment
153-163 : Secret Levels
164 : The End
SNES Version will have PSX DooM 1 / Exclusive levels.
XboX will have ALL levels with N64 Graphics.
PC will have everything XboX has.
GBA will be Spiderman, but without web crap, and has only DooM1/2 levels.
REALLY BIG SECRETS
Level 1 : Hangar
(If you find this secret, it will warp you to the final level.)
Run to the Green armor room and up the stairs but don't grab the green armor Press Y(C-Right on N64, Right-button on SNES, Circle on PS2, Black Button on XboX, A on GBA, and SPACE default on PC) on the left wall. Now go back to the start room and jump off the computer wall on the upper right of the screen and grab hold of the ledge on the open ceiling. Now run through the "back" of the level. You will be teleported to the final level. You can either do this, or run back to the green armor room and down the tunnel up the stairs. It's slower this way, but it's worth it; you'll start the last level with 8,464% health and 7934% armor.Just so you know, I couldn't get around this without revealing the secret to people that don't know: The GC and SNES versions can't display 8,464 and 7934 correctly;it will be displayed like this.
8464% : *@64 %
7934% : ^&34 %
*@ is replaced with a random sprite/texture on SNES, or replaced with the player model's skin on GC.
^& is replaced with a texture that you'll laugh your guts out about.
Level 2 : Plant
This is a secret that is only on the Gamecube version.First unlock the secret to the outside area, and grab the items in this order :
first armor bonus
megasphere
left box of bullets
medkit
chaingun
other armor bonus
mega-armor
right box of bullets
You will hear a door open.Go back to the starting area and use the entry door.It will not open, but the side wall will.It will reveal the last room of level 4, with one major change : there are 4 barrels on the bridge.
Fire at them in this order:
Blow up the one closest to the exit with the chaingun you just got, not wasting over 10 bullets.
Blow up the one closest to the stairs with a shotgun.
Blow up the middle-left one with a pistol.
Blow up the last one with your supershotgun (found in the red-key area)
Now go to the exit. You can freely exit any way you want now.
You will have a new menu option during the game called "Features."You can change your game, add bots, go to a secret gallery, and take a preview video of DooM X2.
