I have no intention of arguing, but if you think 32X Doom music is good you have to be out of your mind. How did we get into this argument?

Calm down, guys. There where no discussion about the 32X DooM music itself. Fact is: The rips, that where recorded only with a microphone, are lame. Thats all.

Darkhaven: I never said it was good, I was just stating that the overtuning that Ralphis did was lame...
But yeah, the 32X Doom music was kinda lame as well.

Playstation.
It's not just a game - it's gaming.
Work of art and the best game ever made. I quite like it...

deathz0r, Is that real? How good is it?
Anyway..
I once downloaded a TC for DOOM 2 called "Aliens TC". That was years ago. It was so cool and really impressed me at what they did to the engine to make it work how it did. That was awesome.
But my favorite Doom would have to be a cross between TNT - Eviloution and Plutonia. I like TNT better but both are great. Especially when I saw how they basically took the regular DOOM 2 engine and made it do stuff it had never done before. The first time I saw an invisible bridge, I was like "HOLY CRAP! THERE'S NO BRIDGE! I'M FLOATING!" Of course, right after that I hacked into the WAD and saw how they did it. Pretty neat.
I also like the DOOM 64. It's different, but very dark on my TV. And the graphics should have been better. It's the N64 for crying out loud! Couldn't they use bigger resolution sprites?
Of course there's always the original DOOM. I've beaten the first episode on the fourth difficulty so many times. Can't beat Nightmare yet, though.

For gameplay: ZDoom (C'mon... who WOULDN'T love the added Rail Gun that's exclusive to ZDoom? ;D) For graphics: JDoom + Doomsday Engine (70 frames-per-second... 'NUFF SAID. ) For variety: DOOM Legacy (it lets me play Heretic and comes with a relatively convenient and easy-to-use launcher) For theme: DOOM 64 (hands down)

And by the way -
Of course it's not real.
If you look at the lower left corner of the screenshot, you'll notice that it says, "Pentagon 128K." It means that it can only hold games that don't exceed 128 Kilobytes.
If you look at your DooM 1 Wad more closely, you'll notice that it is 11 MB.The SNES version is 10MB alltogether, including system stuff, actually bringing it down to something like 7 megs.Plus the Sinclair Spectrum never had a 3d engine, and it also has floor "textures."Even the SNES version, which exceeds the limits of the Sinclair Spectrum 128k by far, didn't have floor or ceiling textures.
Translated:
Sinclair Spectrum:1 Megabit.Nono. (Yes, I mean Mega bit not byte.) SNES: 20 Megabit.Yesyes. Sinclair Spectrum 128k DooM does not exist.
