Yeah, but with launchers, by the time I open it up, set everything up to be able to play what I wanted too, I could just type it all in the cmd line and press enter...

I sometimes use a launcher (I am thinking of making one for Doom 64 TC) when I have a ton of stuff to run with the command line...like deh and bex, difficulty, map to start on...etc...otherwise it's da command line to me.

ya know, there is a program out there named mergawad that will take all of the wads in the directory and merg 'em into one wad. So if you had a sound wad and a level wad they would be merged and do what their supposed to do, thats what I used when my music didn't work on requiem and hell revealed because they were in two sepprate wads. Also there is a program named splitawad, and that will take the wad in the directory and take every level in it and sepparate them into different levels, I did that once to my doom2 and soon I had 31 different wads each with one level from doom2. So you could also use that if you guys want to merg stuff and split stuff. But there is one downside to this when you want to split something you have to search through your computer for the wads because they get put in a weird place, for me it's c drive out in the open but for you it might be something else.

I can merge/split wads using Wintex. Easy.
And why would you split up the DooM2 levels?

I just wanted to try it because I didn't know what it would do.
