Sorry for the wait. You'll get an email with your account tonite.
And about that other guy who's doing the music. He said he has them in raw format (from the game CD), but everytime he tries to edit the tracks override the speakers...
How'd you record them? Just with the line-in on the soundcard like me?

3DO music huh? Well, shoot, I've heard every other Doom soundtrack I can think of, except that one. lol. Well, if Elby think it's good, then I'll be downloading it. He definately has good taste in music I've already got a 2-CD set made for Doom64, and a 3 CD set for PSX Doom, and a single CD for those Kinkiness.com Doom 1 tracks burned onto cds. Which will also provide tons of familiarity and creepiness in our haunted house this halloween...and wtf?! My av isn't working... damn, I'm gonna kill Brandon (I was talking to myself there, he's my friend that said his site he uploaded on was reliable, apparently not). When Doom64 first came out, I took paper mache and wires and plaster, and I actually built a Imp. lol. Ah the memories... thinking of halloween brings back so many. That thing was about 6'9" and weighed as much as they described them in the novels. Well, enough flash backs for me. One day maybe I'll get a reliable upload site and scan a pic of that Imp dummy in and post it, who knows...

The 3DO DooM Musik is a modified version of the PC DooM Tracks. Some like "At DooMs gate" have som cool Guitars, others like "Demons on the prey" have a more sinister mood than the original midis.
The Songs are as follows:
1. At DooM's gate 2. The Imp's song 3. Dark Halls 4. Kitchen ace (and taking names) 5. Suspense 6. On the hunt 7. Demons on the prey 8. Sign of Evil 9. I sawed the demons 10 Donna to the rescue 11. E3M1 (Untitled)
I think, you will love the songs.
The Kinkiness Songs are good, but sometimes a little bit to hmm... dont find the right word. Lets call it too far away.

Heh, I personally like the Intro myself.
But my fav Doom track (well, one of my favs) is the Level 2 Plant music from PSX Doom.

Speaking of which, Ralphis' ripped 32X tracks suck REALLY bad.
Hey Elby, if you don't mind telling me how to hook up my 32X to my sound card or however you do it, maybe I can rip the 32X Doom tracks the RIGHT way this time. I've got the Genesis and the 32X, as well as the DOOM cartridge. All I need is the know-how.

My favourite DooM Track is Into Sandy's City (DooM II Map 09). The 32X Songs are really bad. Totally overtuned. Unfortunately i have the 32X hooked on a Mega Drive 1. So i have only mono sound, can't record the songs in a better quality by myself Whats about the Atari Jaguar DooM ? There is no music in the levels, but on the status screens.

If you're referring to the 32X tracks that I was talking about, they're not overtuned; they're terrible because all he did was take a microphone and record the sounds coming out of the TV.
I still want to see if I can't make better ones....

That should be possible, if you have the 32X on a Mega Drive 2 (sorry, that thing is called Genesis in the states) and have an scart cable for it. I would plug it into a videorecorder, and connect the audio out of the videorecorder with the line in of the soundcard.

Sounds reasonable...but where my Genesis/32X are plugged in, it's an electrician's nightmare...
I'll give it a shot...
EDIT: Nevermind, I don't think it's possible with what I have (an old RCA VHS-C camcorder). All that's with it is an adapter to plug it into the TV.

Ok try it. I would love to hear the 32X Music in a better quality. Sorry for asking that a second time, but whats about the music from the Atari Jaguar Version. I could borrow a catbox for my Jaguar, a friend of mine have one, and record the music too.
BTW: No mail from Elbryan until now.

^ l l l l Edited my above post.
I might need a more detailed how-to; is there a way I can directly hook the system up to the computer via the sound card?
BTW, what's a scart cable, if you don't mind my ignorance?

Forget it; I don't think I CAN do it. Not without a scart cable (whatever it is, I don't have it!).

Plugging your game system into your sound card is easy. You need the RCA cables (comes with all systems nowadays) and a y cable with 2 RCA female ends and one microphone male end (EASY to find at Radio Shack). Put the Audio L/R cables from the RCA cable into the y cable, and the male microphone end into the line-in/microphone jack on your sound card. Done. If I'm not mistaken, the Genesis (like the NES), has a mono RCA jack. You can remedy the problem with another y cable with one female RCA end and 2 male RCA ends. Instant (simulated) stereo! HINT: Recording at a lower volume and boosting the volume causes less distortion than recording at a high volume right away. And cybdmn: I just sent the email. Forgive me, not much time lately. The music will be on the site this weekend, provided you get the mp3s to me by then.
