I have begun working again on a Doom project that died a long time ago, and i would like to post some pictures here. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

You'll have to get some online hosting...try FreeWebs... Then link to the pictures here using the [ url ][ /url ]tags, without the spaces... And what exactly is the project, please tell us a bit more about it.  |

Hey mmnpsrsoskl, can you tell me why Freewebs is such a bitch when it comes to trying to click the link on a message board? Every time I've tried to post pics on a message board that I had on my Freewebs space, the new window would open up in the forums. That's why I've always said that in order to see a pic I posted, you'd have either right-click and save the pic or copy/paste the URL in to the addy bar.
I need PWS...

FreeWebs doesn't allow hotlinking, you can't access pictures from an outside link... Stupid ass technology  |

Speaking of message boards, are you even gonna post at spstuff? (where the NIN board was) I saw that you registered.... ;D EDIT: I'm hoping this project he's talking about is that Q2 mod that was abandoned a long time ago....I'VE got pics of that  They give me a hard-on every time I see them ;D ;D ;D ;D |

Damm...shit...those look awesome! bigd was talking about that very project the other night on IRC, he was asking if anyone knew anything about it... And yeah, i'll go to spstuff after i've finished doing all my usual stuff on net (read 4 msg boards, check email, look at a few sites for news)  |

Esco: This started out as Q2 mod; it was abandoned awhile back. I only posted the pics so that whoever started this thread could verify if it's the same mod he's talking about or not.... He hasn't replied yet, so I'm just waiting; I sure DO hope this is the one he's talking about, however  |

Hey guys/gals.
Those pictures are of the Doom3D project that was killed off quite a while ago. A founding member of that team died in a swimming accident if I remember correctly, it was around the time I asked to join with them as a contributer. Somthing happened, they just stopped working on it and it has'nt been updated for yonks.
My project is Quake2 based as well. 3D monsters, weapons, items and mouse look. The Doom player movement will remain, no jumping ducking ect. Its sort of like what Williams did with Doom64 , remake it with new designs and effects.
My site is up, but at the moment I'm fine tuning everything so its just right, once I have done this i will post the address. sorry. I have some shots of levels in progress and some previews of monters to download, but at the moment the site is still very new.
More info soon.
P.S Would the person who posted those pictures be interested in posting a shot for me?
