Sorry. TOP SECRET!!! I would like to say that it's about 30-40% complete, but being the perfectionist that I am, I'm redoing as much of the graphics as possible. A few (4-5) levels are complete. The progress has been slow lately since it's summer, and not that much people in the DDT are around online. I can see it picking up soon once we round everyone up. Another factor is waiting to see how source ports, especially Zdoom, is turning out. Hi-res sprites and textures will make the game look as close to Doom 64 as possible. Other additions like true 3D or at least pseudo 3D will make the project even better. I wish I could say more. One of the reasons why it's top secret is that the progress is ever changing. Someone may find a better way of doing one thing, and cause more work, but for the better, for instance. So, I hope that helps. We're all just doing our own thing, and one day we'll throw it all together. One thing for sure is, it'll be super sweet when it's completed. NOTE: In the end, the plan is that it'll be all modular. The levels (and textures) will be in 1 wad, the enemies in another, the sounds in another, the music in another, the weapons in another, etc. This way you can enjoy the TC to every extent possible.

Yep, Elby said it all ;D But, Hotdogman, as I said, when I get it so that my wads aren't 12 mb per wad, you can test my Dark Nexus levels I've got so far. Me and Kaiser are trying to figure out the problem, but it keeps eluding us Kaiser is one of the smartest mappers I know, so I'm sure we'll get something figured out! So, if you don't hear anything from me regarding Dark Nexus, it's for that reason. When I get it fixed, I'll let you know, and you can test levels 1 and 2!

He's talkin about punctuation and stuff. Commas and periods, stuff like that. You kinda run all your sentences togeth into one. Don't worry too much about it, I can still understand it all. Just sometimes you'll get lost in what you're reading when you don't have commas. But as I said, Don't worry about it. (CW, you aren't supposed to tell people that kinda stuff, let them figure it out. lol)

I'm nitpicky. That's what I get for coming from an educated family. For as long as I can remember, my own mother has been drilling into my head proper English usage. It's just instintual.
Sorry, hotdogdude. I'll try to only be half as anal as I just was.

Why not only release the wads seperate but a wad with all the stuff in there? That would be good too. Oh and a version for 56kers that doesn't include the PSX tracks or something, ya know? Not that I care *pats his cable* but it would be a bitch to have to type -file d64enemies.wad d64weapons.wad ect. ect.

Why? Because it's Elby's Idea and that's what he wants to do. Besides that, this thing has been going since March, and it's a bit late to try and change the whole thing around, everyone that's working on it already knows whats going on with it. It wouldn't be nice to turn around and change the whole damn project. See, it's about variety, and letting people customize their game. The ability to customize what you're doing is something that most people want nowadays, and this provides just that. It's all about the player, think about it

you know, you CAN use wintex to merge 2 wads together, AND there are launchers out there to load wads for you (I use zdoom launcher 2.6a)

Bah, no launchers for me either. I use batch files. I refuse to abandon my DOS roots!
