If you have a some cash to spend, try contacting Nintendo and asking them for some development tools, see if you can buy some stuff that lets you put stuff from N64 games on your computer. Another good try would be a gaming magazine.

I found out a LITTLE bit dawg..... you need what is called a video capture card. And you need a program which will allow you to make AVI's, MPEG's, WMV's, etc.
UNFORTUNATELY, I couldn't get a hold of Shinobi or Eidrian today.... I'll try to get a hold of them two asap.... they have made TONS of combo vids, I'm sure dat they would know exactly what ta do. 8)

I AM using a video capture card to do these. My computer's just WAY too slow to rip at a decent quality. It would look like pixelated shit. That's why I wanted to just take image captures which are perfect quality.

Instead of trying to capture images with a card, I use an emulator and have it dump screenshots of all the walls I look at. It even allows me to put Doom 64 in 1024x768 resolution to improve the graphics over 3 times the native N64 res! Here's a link to a screenshot I took of Dark Citadel as an example: www.nortexinfo.net/firebrandx/d641024x768.jpgI'd obviously position myself at 90 degree angles before dumping screenshots for rips, so this picture is just for fun.

You could take a PC emulation and tear it apart with ripper. that should dissect it quite well. you can find it in the links at www.deadnail.tk/

Firebrand: nice pic dawg..... da only problem with dat is that emulators for N64 tends to make da images too dark, or look distorted, discolored, and pixalated in many cases...... he's directly pluggin his N64 into his video card so dat the images look FLAWLESS! Check da doom depot and see for yoself under da doom64 images link! Still it's not a bad idea... kaiser is gettin da textures with an emu, and they look tight as fuck. ;D Submerge: sorry dawg, several peeps have tried dat, and NONE have succeeded! Even BBG said he was gonna give it a try, and I just couldn't understand them fuckin disassemblers, and only found messed up bits of colors in da roms. But maybe, somebody else will be able to finally figure it out... ya never know. ......... and if ya'll wants to try, www.zophar.net has just about EVERY tool you could ever find on da net. www.arcadeathome.com is a great place for arcade roms and it has links to many console roms as well!! www.retrogames.com is another good spot to check out for all emulation related things as well.
