Got a percentage for each element? Map, sprites, sounds, etc?

Confidential. All I can say is a few maps are being worked on, the sprites are being redone, the sounds are being redone, some new levels are being remade, a lot of graphics still need to be ripped, and the music is being compressed.
The TC will be done when it's done.

How exactly do you rip sprites and textures off an N64 cartridge??

Take screenshots with either a TV card or emulator, and edit the screenshot. It takes forever to get them all perfect.
Luckily, all of the frames of the monsters (except the pain and slop animations) are at the end of the game, so finding most of the sprites is easy.

You don't need to rip sounds.Just use the freaking PSX Sounds wad.Same thing. It just has extra Spyder Mastermind, Archvile, and Revenant sounds. Shouldn't you know that by now

I know. I already ripped them from the PSX.
And the sounds are much better than the PSX sounds wad now.
And of course I know about the wad. I ripped some of the sounds in the first place for it. Not to mention, there's quite a few of N64 only sounds, and new sounds to make as well.

BTW, I'm not in on this TC to save time, shortcuts, or steal people's work. I want EVERYTHING done fresh by the team, and as perfect as possible.
Those PSX sounds were recorded with a microphone, or thru the sound card. The new ones are ripped straight from the game, and sound MUCH better.

Unbelievable.I never knew they could possibly sound any better than "psxsnds2.wad" I have a question though. Why the hell are you dropping levels from the...Oh wait, you can't have any more than 2 secret levels in Doom2.Just have to stick with "the lair" and "in the void" And I do know alot of classified information on the D64 TC that I ain't supposed to.Don't try it, ya ain't gettin nothing outta me

I ripped my Doom tracks digitally via a fiber-optic cable on the PS2. You can also use PSX music player programs to extract songs off game discs, but some formats are not supported.

Actually, the tracks aren't in playable form on the CD, so I ripped the music by plugging the PSX directly into the sound card. The music is played like midis, using sound effects as the instruments.

Yeah the songs on PSX Doom are not actual audio tracks, however, you can rip them digitally using the PS2's optical output while you play the game. This provides bit-exact rips from each of the songs and sounds. Using the PS1's analog jacks allows "hum" to get through, which you can actually hear in the background if you turn the sound up during silence. It annoyed the heck out of me when I first ripped the songs from the PS1 console. When the PS2 came out, I immediately took advantage of the opitical output.
As a result, I have the clearest and most exact PS Doom tracks stashed on minidiscs. They are literally bit-exact and this can only be done on a PS2.

Luckily, all of the frames of the monsters (except the pain and slop animations) are at the end of the game, so finding most of the sprites is easy. Why are you doing them that way? Have you tried using a sprite ripper utility to extract the images directly from the ROM image? You would be able to get pixel-perfect captures of every frame, item and texture. There's some utils here: www.zophar.net/utilities/n64util.htmlIf you have already explored this avenue then ignore this post. If you need a copy of the Doom 64 ROM image, I could hook you up. There might be other ROM utilities available. Maybe on sourceforge.net. Just a thought.

Yes, I've tried that avenue. The sprites are pixel perfect, EXCEPT the colors are screwed up. So, it would take longer to get the colors right than ripping each one from screenshots.
