okay here's my problem, when i start the doom legacy launcher and then choose to use the doom2 wad and try to launch it, it says "A wad file was not found." And then it says doom3.wad is not the right version. what do i do about this?

It's very simple.Just reinstall Doom2 and put legacy in that folder, with only Doom 2 wad, then launch legacy.exe, not the launcher. If the problem persists, get a new version of Doom that came out after legacy came out.Preferably 1.9.
Then, put your favorite mod in that folder.
Open Notepad.
Type this exact writing, but without quotes.
"legacy -file mod.wad"
mod.wad referring to the wad you want to run with legacy.
Save this in your legacy folder as "modrun.bat"
You can edit this batch any time in notepad.
How do I know all this you ask?Because I gots me a 131 IQ, and I'm only 11 XP.

It's a type of GLQuake that uses Doom 3 Technology, i.e., Stencil Shading, Gloss Maps, etc.

It looks good. But the name Tenebrae (latin for darkness) is true, its unfortunately too dark. And i got it only working on a fresh quake installation. With my normal quake, that contains various Mission packs, TCs and exes (glquake etc.) that doesn't work. But the technology is something besides textures with higher resolution/bpp and others what i want to see in a doom port. BTW: Is there somebody, who knows, where i can get all the vispatches ? The links on the tenebrae site are all dead.

Are you doing this, "glquake -game tenebrae" or are you using the exe that comes with it?

Then it should work fine, if not a little slow.Mine works fine, and I got a 1.2 ghz, 350mb RAM, 32mb VideoRAM, very hi-quality Geforce1, and WinXP Home Edition.
Or, try making a progs.dat file with the Info at the Tenebrae Website.
