I am usin da newest version of DEEP, and I am tryin to put scrolling floors into a wad for doom2. I will be usin zdoom B33! I have also posted dis question on da zdoom forum, but ANY help from ya'll would be appreciated! So far I've figured out how to warp the water, add ambient sounds too it, AND even particles for da waterfall.... now all I need to know how to do is get da water to scroll. I check in deep under sectors, but it doesn't have da option. I tried usin zdoomhexen.prj, but da map keeps crashing when I start doom2! Any ideas, ya'll? EDIT: I don't need help anymore, Kaiser told me how to do what I wanted to do. Feel free to post your questions up in dis forum!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the madness that is the No Poet.
Why are your servers down?
Why doesn't Zdoom work on my computer? Well, it does, but it's got black bits all over the scenery which looks extremely pooey. Plus all the Doom sites go on about version 23a but on the ZDoom website it only goes up to version 22b.

The server's down because it started shutting off intermittently. Replaced the power supply, never fixed the problem. I decided to take down a file server since it won't be reliable and keeping it up all the time will ultimately lead to the demise of my pc. Now I'm absolutely and totally broke. Until I can scrape up some money to upgrade, the server will stay off. However... Someone has offered to mirror the Doom Music and possibly the Doom Maps. This should hopefully be done within the week.

I'm sorry to hear about these problems mate - this site is an excellent resource for DOOM fans, but I don't know why you like Doom 64! How do you get the PSX doom music to work then? I spent 5 hours downloading it!

Cheers mate, I am off to harass the boys at notgod.com! ;D Oh BTW Esco, this is a bit off-topic, but I always thought calling people 'nigga' was supposed to be a racist insult! Just ignore me if I am wrong, I am usually wrong about stuff like that.

I didn't actually like DooM 64 at first, until I got my new controller. I couldn't really beat the first few levels with that horrible three-handled freak of a controller, and Strafing with L+R was impossible when using the control stick and Z Trigger to move and fire (And I CANNOT play a DooM game without strafing), which was a shame because the playstation DooM and the playstation controller were a match made in heaven. So I got a Makopad 64, which has 2 handles only, one fatter than the other, and shoulder buttons easily reachable, Trigger in left hand (which is kool seeing the DooM marine is left handed), and managed to actually get somewhere. Later in teh game it comes to a point when the old enemies you knew come back but in their new terrifying appearance, and greet you with their less-pixelated attacks, heh, then the levels start lookign and sounding more and more like playstation DooM, and, whoah what an experience.

Dammit... NOW you tell me when I finally get used to using the analog (took me 3 years!) on that horrid 3 pronged controller?
