okay, here are the final canidates to be in the Console wad. map01: Hanger map02: Nucluar Plant map03: e1m6 (don't know the name! ) map04: Phobos Anomaly map05: Containment Area map06: command center map07: doom2 map map08: doom2 map map09: doom2 map map10: doom2 map map11: doom2 map map12: deimos anomaly map13: Halls of the Damned map14: spawning vats map15: suburbs 2 map16: tower of babel 2 map17: hell gate map18: hell keep map19: pandemonium map20: house of pain map21: unholy cadredral map22: mt erebus map23: limbo map24: the marshes map25: doom2 map map26: doom2 map map27: doom2 map map28: threshold of pain map29: twlight decends map30: rememption denied map31: the mansion map32: club doom I am going to include every sound found in the psxdoom cd INCLUDING the music wav files. I got a idea to use fragglescript to loop the wav files into a song. and I did find plenty of new textures to be used. Anyways, its coming along nicely. and I suspect a release in christmas. maybe eariler... stay tuned.

btw, I am trying to find a way to make this wad as compatible as I can make it. Club Doom seems impossible to be runned in vanilla doom. two things it can't do: the lights. they play a MAJOR role of this map. and the stereo music trigger line. it seems scripted...plus some of the maps like RD and Phobos anomaly will need to be scripted as well. and since I want this wad to be played with oringinality, I'll might port it to the Eternity port. Since that is a good port for classic doom... bleh...I need to think about this next time. I need rest.

Beautiful! You do realize after you do the console exclusives, you'll have to do all the rest and put them in order for the die hard PSX Doom fans. Great work as always.

yeah, why not? ;D
btw, is anyone here good at remixing things?
I got a lot of loop samples from the psxdoom cd (the music) and is anyone good at making a good non repetitive song under 40 seconds?
or one song split in two (hitting switches seems to stop the wav file from playing during fragglescript)...
..

Well...this is where I come in at Is suppose. I myself edit music alot, but from mp3 format. I can take some of Elby's mp3's and cut them down, and save them as .wav files . Most generally, I edit the tracks me and Tim record from our band (Just ask Monkey, Aliotroph?, Pickle_Hammer, or Mystic from NewDoom, hehehe ;D), but I've also messed around with just soundtracks before. I know I have the following: Level 02: Plant (music is kinda like In The Void, but better, it's psx quality sound, I love it) Level 09: Deimos Anomaly Level 12: Deimos Lab Level 13: Command Center I can definately download any that you need and cut them. If anything I might be helping myself at the same time. Shoot, why not? I'm already downloading the whole freakin movie of Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (using my new GeForce2 I can watch it full screen! Yay! Yet another thing for me and Tim to do on his B-Day), so this wont hurt anything.

I had In-Game in mind, at certain spots, like one screenshot per room where the whole room(except the back of you) is visible.

I think this is a wonderful idea.. but seems everyone is using ZDoom. I use JDoom and liked it much better then ZDoom, is it possible for this to be compatible with JDoom and the Doomsday engine?

I am not making it compatible only with Zdoom. I want to make it compatible for other port users as well.
for one thing its impossible to get it compatible with vanilla Doom2. unless I code a special installer that turns the pwad into a iwad if the user owns doom2.wad.
as for jdoom, no.
well...dunno. maybe if that pussy for a port will accept that wad when I load it. I'll announce its compatibility with jdoom.
