dsv@server1.thefourwinds.net/maps/psxredemption.zipThe community chest megawad is kinda holding me back from Console Doom. But its only 2 more maps I need to make for them. after that its back to work! Next time when I release a console wad, its going to be Containment area or maybe Phobos Anomaly. enjoy. edit: btw, Elbryan, I decided to remake this version, since the one I downloaded did not look anything like that map in psxdoom.

The map rocks! You're right. The one on my site doesn't look exactly the same as the psx version. Yours is super-accurate as always. You're a god.

Not to be picky, but: -Blue Armor and Soul Sphere are missing. -The +1 health on one of the boxes on the way to where you get the yellow key isn't located in the console versions, just the pc version. -The switches are missing (but still functional) in the room where you get the yellow key, and the exit room. -Demons/Spectres in the behind the blue door are missing. I always found it annoying that there's nothing there in the PC version (no point of the room), but the console versions rectify that with 2 demons in the room. Other than that, kick ass map! 20 minutes? You rule. PS. If this is TRULY the Jaguar/GBA/32X version of this map, it would still have the hidden hallways that you can only kill the enemies in it with a rocket launcher, since when they chopped the map, they didn't delete some areas, but the access to them. Luckily, they got rid of the unaccessible areas when they ported the levels to the PSX.

Groovy. It's ALMOST perfect now. The switch textures are still missing on the columns in the yellow key room. Still a very awesome job.

Yes, that's what I mean. I always run straight for the backpack and yellow key, and the platforms don't raise all the way. On the PSX though, even if you run right over the platforms, they still raise all the way. Here's a screenie of the platforms:

k, I'll take a look at it.
I left all tags alone from the pc version.

I tested it on Doom2.exe, Doom95, Prboom, Eternity, and even Legacy. they all work the same.
Zdoom is the only port that does this.
wait. just Eternity seems to move the pillars all the way. ugh...
k. fixed.
