I just bought the fist DooMnovel.
It´s a nice paperback with slightly worn edges.
It was cheap even tough I had to have it shipped to sweden. Book 3$, shipping 9$.

I just got it, so I haven´t actuallt started to read the book yet. But I must say, it sure looks good in the bookshelf.

Weather it´s good or not doesn´t matter.
Now that I have the first one, I need to get the other three.

I've read a review of the Doom novels at Amazon.

It said that the first book is pretty much a well-done transcription of the original game, but the author(s) drop the ball really hard after that.

Methinks they may have taken too many liberties with the idea in order to tell a more developed (read: contrived) story. Sadly, I could never get my hands on the book myself to verify all of this.
