Now I can see the site in all its glory.
I use Opera instead of "Microshaft Internet Exploder", and the old site looked better with IE than opera.

The new site however, looks good in both opera and IE.

I'll second that the redesign is pretty damn sweet!

Just one problem I've faced though, Elby: I get some kinda freaky error when I try to extract the console wad into my Doom folder. It wasn't corrupted; I was able to open the file with no problems.

If it happens again, I'll get into more details.

BTW, did you ever get the PM that I sent you regarding TMNT eps? I can show you a surefire way of getting EVERY episode you need without the hassle of FTP.

Well, it was easy for me once I got the hang of it and got the nick registering and all.

If you use mIRC as your IRC client (who doesn't?), then you can get started by visiting this page. It tells you what server to join (in this case it's DALNet), how to configure IRC to allow downloads and all that. But if you already know all about downloading files from IRC, then all you need to know is that the channel to join is #tmnt-files on DALNet server.

The channel requires you to register your nick (that doesn't mean registering IRC itself) so that nobody else steals your nick or something. If you know how to do that, then you're all set to go. If you don't, I'll tell you how to do it below.


In the main IRC window type the following command:

/nickserv register insertpasswordhere insertemailhere

Replace the last 2 words with your desired password and email, obviously.

I hope that's enough info to get you started. This is how I got the whole series (193 eps). Just beware of DoS attacks, "connection reset by peer" errors if you get booted, and anything else like that. Don't worry; that happened a lot to me, and I still got the whole series.

One FServe I would recommend once you get connected to that channel belongs to pukebrain, and he has the entire series for download. The catch is, however, that he only allows 2 queues per user and 1 send at a time, so it'll be slow if you plan to get eps from him. There's one other server that allows 5 queues per user and 3 sends at a time, but I forgot the username.
