I noticed this site has a section for Castlevania music. Some of the very best music was on the PS1's Symphony of the Night, which is also hands-down regarded as the best Castlevania ever made. I'd be happy to make MP3s of all the music tracks for it if you guys want them for the site. Let me know and I'll whip up a batch.

Yes, I know I don't have SOTN music. But I've made a solemn vow that the Depot is not a warez site which means any game music that's on soundtracks won't be on the site. Just ripped music. And SOTN has a soundtrack you can buy (heck I own both the SOTN and Dracula X soundtracks). If you'd like the soundtracks, the Castlevania Dungeon has EVERY soundtrack for Castlevania. The address is www.classicgaming.com/castlevania/ . I also live in the forums there too. Of course, in the future I might be making a video game music FTP with all of the game music I can find, ripped and soundtracks. Of course, that would require me to have time.

You know, Elby, I don't think ripping the tracks from games is any more legal than taking them from soundtracks...

Crendowing has a good point. Ripping the tracks (and even graphics) are copywrited material. Taking music tracks from games can be argued that they remove the market potential for a future soundtrack CD. It doesn't bother me either way, since I have all Castlevanias, including a mint condition Turbo Duo "Rondo of Blood" (the 2nd best Castlevania).

I don't want to rip those off who sell and make the cds. If it can be bought, I don't want to give it out on my website. The ripped music, however, doesn't detract people from buying something.

Oh, and BTW, I just now noticed that the DOOM 2 GBA tracks are up...compared to the first GBA DOOM, these are very superior! It's also nice to see that most of them were used in the right place this time as well! AND IS IT TRUE? ? ARE THERE 2 EXTRA MAPS IN THE GBA VERSION? ?? Sorry for the caps, but I just had to get the excitement out.

If you want to download the castelavnia SOTN tracks... do one of the following: 1)Download Winmx, Kazaa (non-spyware version recommended), or any other such program and search for it. 2)Get a PSX Xm/music track ripper, and just use it on the SOTN ISO or actual cd. 3)Use a search engine and search for Castlevania: SOTN or Symphony of the night, and you'll turn up a bunch of sites with music tracks. I hope this helps. Other than dat.... Elbryan has spoken, NO TRACK FOR YOU! P.S. this thread is now closed.. have a nice day. EDIT: !!!!! I could have sworn I locked this thread.. oh well, since it's focus has changed it seems just fine to me now.... carry on. ;D
