Hello all. I've been very busy working on getting map layouts for my 3 level Witchaven Heretic project. I'm currently working on getting a layout of level 3. This should make the mapping in WadAuthor go very quickly. I also got sprite replacements for the Maulator as well as the Golem thanks to XWE and WINTEX. I'm really pleased with how they came out. ;D I'll post some screen shots of my progress in the next day or so.

I had no idea what Witchhaven was until today. I found a demo on the web by accident.
The playability of the demo was not good at all, but the overall concept of the game seemed to be cool. I like the semi gothic style.
I´m really looking forward to play your little conversion. How are you going to implement the weapons? With edge DDF scripting or something else? The main reason why I ask is that the weapons tend to use more frames than the weapons in doom.
How about a screenshot?

Thanks for the reply. I needed some motivation to keep working on it. I'm going to finish the sprite work in just a little bit. I just need to do the fist and Minodrake sprites. Then I'll post a screenie for everyone to drool over possibly tonight. It'll just be of what the new monsters look like as well as the crossbow to Witchaven bow for the time being. All Heretic weapons will have the same properties. I want to give the feeling of Witchaven with long range weapons. As Gamespot quoted "After a while playing Witchaven you'll be praying for a BFG 9000". Anyways I felt the Heretic weapons would give the conversion more of the long range combat style that most 3d FPS games have. I haven't gotten to the level editing yet.

It didn´t know anything about witchhaven when you posted about it the last times, so I didn´t bother to reply.
If you need some sort of betatester or something like that I will be more than happy to help.
Most of the levels in witchhaven are rather simple,but when it comes to details they´re more complex that you think when looking at them for the fisrt time.
