Download to your heart's consent, my friend!Make sure to select the files you want, right-click, and then choose "Copy To Folder". Select the folder you want to save the files in, and then the rest rolls from there. As for using them (this is assuming the wads are placed in the same folder as DOOM): In the DOS prompt (or "Run" under the Start Menu if you're running Windows), first type the path to where the executable is (e.g. c:\doom\doom.exe, I don't think you need to put the .exe extension). Once that's done, use the command line parameter "-file" (without the quotes, of course) to tell the game you plan to use that WAD. Use this example command line to help you: c:\doom\doom -file wad1.wad wad2.wad If the modification you're using has a DeHackEd patch to go with it, I'd suggest you use a source port that has external DeHackEd support, like ZDoom, unless you REALLY know how to use DeHackEd. Otherwise, use a port, and use the "-deh" command-line parameter like in the example below: c:\doom\doom -file wad1.wad -deh deh1.deh Just press "enter" when you're done, and if all goes well, the game will run with the modification specified. If it came with a .deh patch, you might have to wait a while to find out if it worked or not. Of course, if you're TOTALLY clueless on what was said above, there's tons of frontends and launchers out there for source ports, some of which can be found here at the Doom Depot. I hoped that cleared a few things up.

There's a much simpler way to do this.First, open Notepad.
Then type this:
doom -file coolmod.wad
otherwise, if you're using it with ZDoom, just type:
zdoom -file coolmod.wad
If the file extension is "deh", and a "wad", then you use:
doom -file coolmod.wad -deh patch.deh
Then save this as a ".bat" file.It WILL work.No exceptions.Or if it doesn't and you're using ZDoom, you can use the "exec" command in the console like this:
1.Run ZDoom.
2.Press ~.
3.Type:exec coolmod.wad;exec patch.deh
4.If all else fails, you need a new version of ZDoom.
